Mike [on the left] was also very generous with his time and donated many hours to volunteering projects such as Leicestershire Cares.

Mike Cope, Health and Safety Resource Manager at Ford & Slater, is retiring in March 2021 after spending fifty years with the company.

Mike joined Ford & Slater Leicester on 21st August 1966 and has held various positions at the Leicester, Aylesbury, Grimsby, Coventry, and Peterborough dealerships. For the last nineteen years, he has worked tirelessly to keep everyone safe in his current role of Health and Safety Resource Manager.

Mike played a pivotal role in Ford & Slater successfully implementing our IS09001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, our compliance with Dealer Standards, environmental legislation, and insurance matters. His commitment to staff safety has been exemplary and we have always appreciated his calm and measured approach.

We wanted to personally offer Mike our many thanks and admiration for his significant contribution to the success of Ford & Slater and wish him a happy retirement!
